Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres is a female British composer. After graduating in Music at the University of Bristol in 2011, she has since worked on scoring music for concerts, film, opera, circus and theatre stage productions and performed as a pianist, vocal artist and on the Tibetan bowl in a tribute to John Tavener. She has studied continuous method as a pianist and has since been inspired by this in her compositions. She works chiefly now on improvised piano structures with digital sound manipulation, but also enjoys writing for larger forces. Her work has been performed in Europe, most recently in Berlin and Bristol.
