Dei Xhrist
A multi disciplinary artist using voice to reconstruct language by rearranging its sounds, patterns, and rhythms in to almost-familiar audio vignettes. Language is featured strongly in performances, writings, and sculptures that examine phrase and word meanings on several levels. As part of the Lowell MA (USA) noise/experimental scene, Dei has performed as a core member of Birdorgan, and has been complimented as “one of the weirdest performers” in the Boston MA (USA) area. She sings acoustic, or with electronics; solo, and in duos and trios.
