Lucie Coffey – Shirkher

Shirkher is a solo act that delves into a world of experimental and angsty art pop, often being built off of my poetry and certain moods that I want to capture. I make use of quite a maximalist, bombastic production style to confront different ideas and fears, and song structures that twist, turn and invert pop conventions. Although my music is primarily comprised of electronic sounds and production almost every song features trumpet and vocal performances as well, which gives a sense of personality and unpredictability to the songs.
